Every day we can hear those inspiring words: Follow your heart, you can do it, nothing can beat you down, and so on. People are encouraged to do what they want, but the fact is, when making a big decision, parents always make choices for their children, these children can’t follow their hearts.
每天我们都能够听到这样的话：跟随你的心，你行的，没有什么事情能把你打倒等等。人们被鼓励去做他们想做的，但是事实上，当做一个大的决定时候，父母总是为孩子做决定，这些孩子不能跟随他们的心。
Parents want their children to get the best, so they get used to making big decisions for their kids. Lucy is a college student, she is studying finance now, her parents choose the major for her because finance is a promising major, the society needs people who study finance. But Lucy is not interested in finances; she loves art which makes her happy. But her parents do not agree with her choice, so she has to follow her parents’ idea.

We all like to follow our hearts and do what we want, but we live in a society that sometimes bounds us to be free. We will be interfered with by our parents and the material, but most of us recognize that it is happiness and not money that is the ultimate goal. So we should follow our hearts, keep our dreams and never give up.
我们都喜欢跟随自己的心意，做自己想做的，但是我们生活在社会里，有时候限制着我们的自由。我们会被父母或者物质干涉，但是我们大部分人都意识人最终的目标到是开心而不是金钱。所以我们应该跟从自己的心，保持理想，永远不要放弃。
